Commissions and stuffs

Wow, it's been a bit of whirlwind of late, there have been some big highs and some crashing lows.
I know I've been distant of late and I'm sure no one really noticed that ;D But yeah, you guys know I'm a fairly private person. I've never really liked the idea of blasting my personal life all over social media, everyone has their own problems in life and I'm sure no one has the time to listen to be b*tch and complain about everything that's going on.
That being said, I found myself in quite a terrible situation with my day job. Stress is mounting worse and worse each day, I've been booked off for a couple of days before, just to help get migraines from the stress of the job under control. Everyday I'm flaming angry.
I had a nervous break down 3 weeks ago and yesterday was a collection of panic attacks.
At this point, if I stay here, I'm not sure I'm going to live to see 36.
I'm not proud to admit this, not proud t admit such a weakness within myself. My wife and I are the two who are expected to be the strong ones within our friends and family, so to now openly admit to how fractured and broken inside I feel, it's really not my highest point.
But, before i get any further, allow me to move onto the real point of this journal: commissions.
Ultimately, I'll be opening up commissions soon and I also want to get a feel if everyone or anyone would be interested.
Give it a thought and maybe, hold me in your thoughts and prayers.

Hey deviants, one and all, so I'm not dead.
I first want to say how much I appreciate EACH AND EVERY FAV, LLAMA AND WATCH!
You guys who have watched me for a while know I'm terrible with replies and I wish I could thank everyone individually, so I have to make a general thank you so much to everyone whose fav'ed even one of my colors.
The other thing, I'm doing something a little different now. Everyday, starting today, in about an hour, I'll be uploading a new progress shot to OTHER accounts.
That's right, no deviant walkthrough for this lovely gir...piece

He's Baaaaaaaaack!

Deviants and Deviettes, lend me your ears...or your eyes, cause it's a journal and not...a voice...record...anyway!
Well, guess whose back, back again - nevermind.
As some of you may or may not have noticed, I have been very scarce, since September last year (over 13000 in message centre - ouch!)
Thanks to lack of internet (think dial-up speeds - for my younger watchers, dial-up is a very old form of internet connection with very low speeds - the same internet speed Lincoln had in his first log cabin).
But, other than prehistoric internet speeds, my health also took a bit of a knock, due to both change of season and ridiculous work-related obligations (totally worth it, good experience, great income, all round awesome, lack of sleep, not so much)
But before I bore you further, let me also quickly insert a few other things and then back to the art:
- My girlfriend and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary.
- My box died, was killed, exorcised - no really! Over 290 000 viruses on my processor driver - and that's where my cousin STOPPED counting!
However, for only $6 million dollars, they could fix it, rebuild it, make it better...dundundun So although my PC now wears a red and white jumpsuit (if you have to ask, your childhood is greatly lacking)
- Been doing a lot of studying to improve my craft and hopefully the pieces in the upcoming weeks will show that.
- I'm still hunting down a specific Gen13 cover from the early to mid 90's - so, if you possibly read Gen13 from 1990 - 1998, let me know - I am desperate to just get the specific issue number - that is all!
(If I'm not mistaken, it should be a J. Scott Cambel cover.)
- Happy Christmas, birthday, Valentines, Hannikka, Quanza and everything inbetween.

So, I am in need of business advice....

Greetings one and all, how we all doing?
Now, before I go on, let me clarify that NO! I am not (yet) guilty of what I'm about to ask or open up for discussion.
I need to ask, specifically of those in the know - prints and print rights - scary, I know right?
Now, my question is: If I, as a colourist, add colours to a set of linework (add any character or by any artist here), do I have any print rights, as the person who applied their own colour treatment to the line work?
I'm sure some of you must be thinking 'dude, are you serious? You should innately know this', truth is, I'm getting confused and I would really like someone to just lay it out in black and white for me.
Is it as simple as getting permission from the penciller/inker/line artist, or is that just the polite way to operate?
Again and I can't stress this enough - No, I am not guilty of randomly selling artwork that I just downloaded and coloured up.
In fact, to do what I thought is the right direction, any of the works in my gallery that I thought would be cool as a print for selling, I have contacted the line artists to ask for their permission.
Remember, this question relates to the selling of prints, with my colour work. I have made 1/one print of certain pieces of my gallery for my portfolio, with the appropriate credits given to the line artists involved on every piece - only one print for my portfolio!
So, let me stop wasting everyone's time and get back to uploading something amazing, at least I think it is.
So yeah, if anyone can help me out in this regard, i would really appreciate it
